Responsibilities:

 

• Develop criteria for scholarship applicants including deadlines and methods of submission

• Promote scholarship opportunities for local and district level awards to all members, and community contacts including school foundation.

• Solicit and procure scholarship applicants prior to January deadline for Joey Robison Scholarship for Non-Traditional Students through District Three

• Review scholarship applications in April / May and select recipients

• Organize a presention for the program meeting outlining details of the Scholarship program including recent winners

• Submit updated information about the scholarship opportunities and recipients to the Communications Committee for inclusion in press releases and the web site

• Communicate with previous scholarship recipients about the process for renewals

• Monitor available funds for scholarships and work with Executive Board to adjust the amount of awards based upon the funds available and demand.

• One or more members to attend and present scholarships at the Awards Night
